“Rivers do not drink their own waters; trees do not eat their own fruits; the sun does not shine on itself & flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves. Living for others is a rule of nature. We are all born to help each other.”

WHY UGANDA?
Most people in Uganda live in extreme poverty. According to the World Bank, 42% of the population lives on just $2.15 per day. Marginalization can perpetuate cycles of poverty and restrict individuals’ ability to fully participate in society. This obstacle weaves its way into everyday life, negatively impacting aspects of wellbeing like food security, mental health, women’s rights, and education. Recognizing and addressing the unique challenges faced by marginalized communities is essential for promoting social justice, equity, and inclusivity, as well as dismantling the structures that perpetuate their marginalization.
Our Mandate
At the heart of our organisation lies a commitment to upholding the inherent dignity and rights of all individuals, irrespective of their social economic status. By fostering a culture of solidarity and support, we strive to create a more inclusive and compassionate society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
